Welcome to WorthTheBite, operated by Duskline Ventures LLC ("WorthTheBite," "we," "us"). By using this website, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
WorthTheBite is a community platform where users can submit and view dish-level ratings, and optionally submit photos, for restaurants. Users can also optionally create an account to keep track of their ratings and share a public profile. We provide the platform — we do not write, verify, or endorse any of the reviews, photos, or profiles submitted by users.
You do not need an account to browse WorthTheBite or to submit a rating. If you choose to create one, you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your sign-in secure, and that you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us at the address below, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end an account, and remove its content, if we determine, at our sole discretion, that it violates these terms or is otherwise being used in a harmful, misleading, or abusive way.
If you claim a username, you get a public profile page that displays your username, your ratings, and any personal photos you have added. Anyone can view it. A username cannot be changed or released once it is claimed. You must not choose a username that impersonates another person or a business, or that is offensive, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights. We may remove or reassign a username that violates these terms.
When you submit a rating, photo, or other content on WorthTheBite, you agree that your submission is based on your honest personal experience. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
By submitting, you grant WorthTheBite a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable license to display, use, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative or aggregated works from your submission — including ratings, photos (including personal photos), your public profile content, and any other content you provide — as part of datasets, statistics, or data feeds provided or licensed to third parties (such as restaurant platforms, delivery services, search engines, or data partners). We may use your submission in this way regardless of whether you continue to use WorthTheBite. We will not include your email address or sign-in information in data we license to third parties.
You agree not to submit false, misleading, or malicious ratings. You must not submit ratings for restaurants or dishes you have not personally experienced, and you must not submit ratings intended to harm a business unfairly.
If you submit a photo, including a personal photo, you confirm that: you personally took the photo and have the right to share it; the photo genuinely depicts the dish as served — not a stock image, an AI-generated image, or an image sourced from elsewhere; and the photo does not include other identifiable people without their knowledge, and does not include sensitive personal information belonging to yourself or others (for example, visible payment cards, ID documents, or license plates).
If you believe content submitted to WorthTheBite infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated agent at hello@worththebite.io including: (1) a description of the copyrighted work; (2) the location of the allegedly infringing content on WorthTheBite; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond to valid notices by removing or disabling access to the identified content. A user whose content is removed may submit a counter-notice; we are not obligated to reinstate content absent a valid counter-notice meeting the same requirements.
WorthTheBite is a neutral platform that hosts user-generated content. We are not the author or publisher of user submissions and are not liable for the accuracy or completeness of any ratings, photos, or profiles submitted by users. This platform operates under applicable laws governing user-generated content platforms.
We reserve the right to remove any submission — rating, photo, username, or profile content — that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate, offensive, or harmful. Some content, such as personal photos on a profile, may appear before we review it and may be removed afterward. We are not obligated to monitor all submissions but may do so at any time.
WorthTheBite is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 13.
WorthTheBite is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any ratings, photos, or profiles on this platform. Use the information here at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duskline Ventures LLC and WorthTheBite shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this platform, including but not limited to reliance on ratings, photos, or reviews posted by other users.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts located in New Mexico.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
